- Once at the hotel, Victoria was able to portray Monique convincingly with dark hair and a French accent. Once she had played her long enough to pin the murder on Roderick, Victoria conveniently vanished, dying her hair blond.
- However, she was soon found and arrested by police after a pawnbroker claimed to have been sold a camera by a blond Monique. Victoria was promptly arrested.
- Though she attempted to protest that she had found the camera and wasn't Monique, the police didn't believe her. Roderick claimed she was also Monique, though Jacqueline insisted that she wasn't.
