Season 7 was announced on April 2nd, 2013 and is the first season with more than the usual 13 episodes. This season has 18 episodes and premiered on September 30, 2013, at 8pm. It also aired one hour earlier than usual. There was a winter haitus, from December 3 2013-January 5 2014 as well as a haitus for the 2014 Olympic Games from January 28-March 2 2014. There is a webseries with this season called Making Murdoch, as well as a 2 hour TV movie (as per Christina Jennings) may be in the works.
