Matthew MacFadzean was born in 1972 in North York, Ontario. As an actor, he originated the role of George Crabtree in the Murdoch Mysteries Films. Later, he would go on to play Mr. Hobson in the episode, "Victoria Cross."
MacFadzean is both a stage and screen actor. He began appearing at the renowned Stratford Festival in 2006. His other television appearances include Nick Howell in Suits (2013), Tim Beck in Designated Survivor (2016-2017) and Gerry Crotty in Copper (2012).
