Timpson Foster was a North York Alderman. He was a strong supporter of prohibition.
Foster was married to a Mary Foster with whom he had a daughter, Rebecca. The family lived together at 13B Cumberland Street.
Foster was murdered while asleep in his bed on the night of October 11, 1892.
