- She first appears when Murdoch approaches her basketball team to see if they know anything about the murdered woman. Later, Julia is asked to infiltrate the group, and Katie admires her for determination.
- Katie invites Julia along to something the team does for fun, which is dress like men and go to the gentleman's club. Murdoch and Crabtree arrive and Katie realizes they're caught. She feels betrayed by Julia for what she did for the police.
