The Grand Trunk Railway is a railway system, introduced in Season 1 of Murdoch Mysteries.

History[]

The Grand Trunk Railway operated in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario, and in the American states of Connecticut, Maine, Michigan, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The railway was operated from headquarters in Montreal, Quebec; however, corporate headquarters were in London, England. In 1906, the Grand Trunk Railway's Mimico railway yards were opened.

Appearances and Mentions[]

The Knockdown[]

  • The boxer Amos Robinson bought two tickets from Toronto to San Francisco on the Grand Trunk Railway. Presumably, only the first leg of the trip was on Grand Trunk and there would have been a transfer.
