Chippy Blackburn was a bicycle trainer who was rumoured to have used some unorthodox methods on his bikers.
Appearance
Chippy is first seen at the bike race while Murdoch is preparing. After one of his riders die, Murdoch discovers a controversial method where Chippy would give his bikers blood injections to boost their speed. Dr. Emily Grace drew a theory about the blood transfusions, and how specific types of blood can actually kill a man with a different type, leading them to the real killer, another biker.

- He created a nickname for Murdoch, "Detective Gadget" which is and obvious reference to Inspector Gadget.
