Bartholomew Mead was a Toronto judge. On October 16, 1895, Mead presided over the trial of Dr. James Danby for the murder of Harold Frasier. Danby was found guilty and Mead sentenced him to be committed at the Toronto East Asylum ("Ciphers and Somnology").
