- Even though Inspector Brackenreid sent Athena away from his office, he is seen feeding and playing with her and when questioned by Detective Murdoch, he claims that, "she seems to have taken a bit of a shine to me!"
- Constable George Crabtree took Athena's fingerprints as part of the investigation. These matched those on the switchblade that killed Count Leoline. Inspector Brackenreid tells Athena's keeper and Pierre Barnett to send him a postcard if the circus shuts down and has nowhere to go.
